Who we are
This website, www.metamuse.co.uk, is operated by MetaMuse (“we”, “us”). We are the data controller for the personal data described in this notice. You can contact us about anything in it at me@davidburrells.co.uk.

What we collect, and why
The waitlist
If you join the waitlist we collect your name, email address, and, if you choose to give them, your organisation, the reason you are interested and any message you write. We use this to contact you about Agentic Capital Market, the Agentic Economy Series and related MetaMuse updates, and to understand who is interested in the work.
The lawful basis for this is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email we send or by emailing us, and we will stop contacting you and delete your details.
Email you send us
If you email us we will hold your message and contact details for as long as needed to reply and deal with whatever you raised. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries.
Website analytics
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used: which pages are visited, how people arrive, roughly where in the world they are and what kind of device they use. Google Analytics sets cookies on your device and processes your IP address (which we ask Google to anonymise) and a pseudonymous identifier. We do not use it for advertising and do not share advertising data with Google.
Analytics runs only if you choose Accept on the cookie banner. If you decline, or never answer, no analytics cookies are set. You can change your mind at any time using the button below.

Who we share data with
We use a small number of service providers to run this site: our web host, the service that receives waitlist form submissions, and Google for analytics. Each processes data on our instructions and under contract. Some of these providers are outside the UK; where that is the case, transfers are covered by the UK's adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Waitlist details are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, or until the waitlist closes, whichever comes first. Email correspondence is kept for up to two years after our last exchange. Analytics data is retained by Google Analytics for 14 months.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to withdraw consent where that is our basis for using it. Email me@davidburrells.co.uk and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
